an invocation
O powerful lord of Pytho, far-thrower, also a seer, whose place is high atop the Parnassus rock, of your power I sing: In turn, may your gift furnish me with glory and send your true voice into my mind so that, by the imposition of the Muse, I may disperse a fine song to the numberless races of men with the help of my well-made cithara. [Orpheus - "Argonautica"]Our Mission
ORPHIC, based in Athens, Greece, are committed to connecting the present with the past through the release of high quality music of psychedelic/drone/electronic/progressive origins. Because we remember the thrill and mystery of it, we are vinyl oriented, but not exclusively so; because we value creativity and originality we believe that every release should be a piece of art in itself.
